XPS rigid foam boards
Rigid polystyrene foam boards with self-adhesive surface
Hartmann XPS rigid foam panels are factory-fitted with self-adhesive front and rear sides. With this base, composite elements with individually planked surfaces can be realised quickly and cost-effectively. A wide variety of cover layers can be bonded to Hartmann XPS, especially materials with low-energy surfaces. Thanks to the very high adhesive strength right from the start, composite elements produced with Hartmann XPS are immediately ready for use or suitable for direct further processing.
Panel construction
Covering material: Adhesive film (modified polyacrylate)
- free from solvents and harmful substances
- very good initial and permanent adhesive strength
- high climate and temperature resistance (-40° to +100° C)
Core: Rigid polystyrene foam, extruded (XPS)
- free from harmful substances such as HBCD, CFCs, HCFCs
- very good thermal insulation (WLG 035 and WLG 025)
- high compressive strength (bulk density over 30 kg/m³)
- homogeneous, closed-cell, elastic
