Aluminium tread plates from W. Hartmann & Co. combine stability, low weight and functional design. Their surface provides slip resistance, a distinctive appearance and additional reinforcement of the sheets. This makes them ideal for applications where secure footing and durability are essential – including vehicle construction, stairs and ramps, walkways, work platforms, machine enclosures, interior fit-outs and architecture. Our range includes four surface patterns: Duett, Quintett, Barley grain and TopGrip.
All tread plates are corrosion-resistant and offer a significant weight advantage over steel plates. They are also fully recyclable and can be recycled repeatedly without loss of quality.

Aluminium Duett
Aluminium Duett tread plate is the proven standard version among our tread plates. Its double-bar pattern provides a good combination of slip resistance and easy cleaning. The Duett design has a subtle appearance and is particularly suitable for applications where technical functionality and a clean, understated look are required.

Aluminium Quintett
Aluminium Quintett tread plate features a five-bar pattern, providing even greater slip resistance and dimensional stability. This version is frequently used in industrial applications, warehouse and vehicle construction, walkways and platform surfaces. Its more pronounced pattern makes Quintett particularly hard-wearing and slip-resistant, even in wet conditions.

Aluminium Barley grain
Aluminium barley grain tread plate features a uniform, finely textured surface with a subtle grain pattern. It is often used where both slip resistance and aesthetic appeal are important. Its discreet surface structure also makes the sheet suitable for visible applications.

Aluminium TopGrip
Aluminium TopGrip tread plate is a specially developed tread plate with optimized slip resistance. Its surface consists of asymmetrically arranged, sharp-edged raised patterns that provide secure footing even in wet or dirty conditions. It has been specifically designed for applications where safety is the highest priority. TopGrip also offers high wear resistance and long-term durability, making it ideal for heavily used industrial environments.
