In April 2024, Hartmann's Gladbeck branch was recognised as an “Exemplary Family-Friendly Employer” for its outstanding commitment to helping employees balance work and family life. The award recognises the wide range of measures the company has introduced to provide employees and their families with a supportive working environment.
The reasons for the award include the voluntary top-up of statutory child benefit, flexible working arrangements such as flexitime, a generous annual holiday entitlement of 39 days, the option of working digitally, support with childcare and care services for family members, health promotion initiatives and inclusive solutions for employees with physical disabilities.
